There seemed to be something about Vic Beasley playing in LA. This game versus LA would be Week 14 of his second year in the league and the year that he would win the NFL sack title. If you look at the Top 4 games of his career, all are from that 2016 season.

The Atlanta Falcons would win this game in style, beating the Rams 42-14. They would improve to 8-5 on the season and move toward that playoffs and eventually using momentum to reach the Super Bowl.

Rookie quarterback Jared Goff was a sitting duck in a bad offense behind a terrible offensive line and Vic Beasley took advantage of his ability to dominate that afternoon.

He would sack Jared Goff three times and would also notch two tackles for loss, two QB hits and added his first-ever fumble recovery and would return it 21 yards. The only other fumble recovery that Vic would have in his 78 games in a Falcons uniform would come in 2018 against the Ravens.

Outside of NFC South opponents, Beasley’s greatest success came against the Rams. Don’t be surprised to see them make a run at the former first-round pass-rusher when free agency begins.
