Who was the greatest Atlanta Falcons team of all time?
By Joe Beasley
Since the turn of the millennium, the Atlanta Falcons have had the most success they’ve ever had in franchise history and it’s because of two quarterbacks, Matt Ryan and Michael Vick.
Ryan and Vick are the two best quarterbacks in Atlanta Falcons franchise history. They both have led the Falcons the closest to the ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl.
While both quarterbacks came up short in their goal of doing so, who had the better team?
Matt Ryan led Falcons and the Vick led Falcons are like night and day. The Ryan led Falcons was the team that could air the ball out with weapons like Julio Jones, Roddy White, Harry Douglas, and Tony Gonzales.
On the flip side, the Michael Vick led Falcons were all about the ground the pound. The running back duo of Warrick Dunn and TJ Duckett taking turns hitting opposing defenses with a deadly mixture of thunder and lightning and then having to worry about Vick running wild especially with an open field.
In this scenario, two teams led by Vick and Ryan will go head to head to see which team was the best.
