There is no time for the Atlanta Falcons to feel sorry for themselves.

The Atlanta Falcons schedule doesn’t get easier from here. After the loss on Sunday to the Seahawk, the Falcon will be going up against the Dallas Cowboys. While they have to face another great quarterback in Dak Prescott, that might be the least of their worries.

The Atlanta Falcons offensive line has a real challenge on its hands and that’s protecting Matt Ryan from the Cowboys pass rush. They did an okay job in protecting Matt against the Seattle Seahawks, but now they have to deal with one of the leagues best.

This offensive line and running backs during the game must do their due diligence to keep Ryan upright in order to put points on the board. With the way the defense played against the Seahawks, the Falcons need to score early and often.

Atlanta Falcons will face a lot of pressure from the Cowboys defensive line.

How will the Falcons plan to neutralize Demarcus Lawrence? While he was didn’t have the best season last year, Lawrence isn’t far removed for a season in which he tallied 10.5 sacks and 14.5 the year before then.

Don’t let the first game of the season fool in which he recorded only one combines tackle. Lawrence can get into the backfield and make it a long day for Matt Ryan.

Another player the Atlanta Falcons need to worry about is Aldon Smith. Even though he’s been out of the league for five years, you couldn’t tell that was the case against the Rams. He tallied 11 total tackles with one sack, one tackle for loss, and two quarterback hits.  The Falcons offensive line cannot afford to forget about Smith because he will wreak havoc on Matt Ryan and the company.

With the youth at cornerback for the Cowboys and the injury to Leighton Vander Esch, the Falcons have a chance to score points at a higher clip than they did in week one. The best way to do that is for the Falcons pass protection to be flawless and give Ryan the time to get the ball to his weapons.
