Can Julio get into the end zone?

The Denver Broncos have given up just 11 passing touchdowns this season, they are among the league’s best in that area. They also haven’t faced a passing attack like the Atlanta Falcons possess. This is impressive given they have faced the Steelers, Bucs and Chiefs already.

Julio Jones has just two receiving touchdowns so far in 2020, while fans are disappointed, Jones continues to say that his personal stats don’t matter he just wants wins. However, there seems to be a correlation between the Falcons winning and Julio catching touchdowns.

In his career, the Falcons are 31-15 when Julio catches at least one touchdown and 12-1 when he catches at least two. This season, the Falcons are 1-0 when Julio Jones gets into the end zone twice.

Julio has to be more involved in the Atlanta Falcons passing attack moving forward and there is no better time than the present for offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter to make him a priority.

Number two Calvin Ridley has missed both practices this week and is listed day-to-day. While he was expected to practice Friday, the Falcons went virtual due to a positive COVID test and we will now have to wait until game time to find out if he will play.
