The Bills followed up the Atlanta Falcons selection of drafting Takk McKinley by selecting cornerback Tre’Davious White.

In 2017, Desmond Trufant was playing at a solid level but fellow cornerback Jalen Collins wasn’t doing the same. Collins would eventually be released by the Falcons leaving an already questionable secondary with depth issues.

Fast forward to now and the Atlanta Falcons still have issues in the secondary.

Desmond Trufant has come and gone. Kendall Sheffield has his moments but still needs to get better. Isaiah Oliver has become the NFL’s version of toast.

AJ Terrell has been getting better and better but outside of him, the Falcons don’t have much. Tre’Davious White along with Terrell would have given the Falcons a nice duo at the cornerback position.

Just last season, White made his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro team while leading the league in interceptions with six. White would have been the best player in the Falcons secondary and would have been able to make up for the lack of a pass rush.

While White might have not been able to do much to fix the Falcons pass rush at that time, there are other guys selected a few picks later that could have made a difference.
