Atlanta Falcons: Todd Gurley will have his best performance vs. Chargers
Atlanta Falcons are looking for the best game of the season from their running back
The Atlanta Falcons are set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers this weekend in a matchup that we believe will show us the best performance of the season for RB Todd Gurley.
Gurley, who limited in practice for a couple of days leading up to the game, is reportedly set to go after dealing with a knee injury throughout the week.
As long as Gurley is able to go this afternoon, there’s reason to believe he’ll have one of the best performances of the 2020 season for the Atlanta Falcons.
The Chargers are near the bottom of the league in average yards per carry (4.6) given up over the course of this season and Gurley has had just one game of more than 100 yards rushing this year (the first matchup against the Panthers where he rushed 14 times for 121 yards and a touchdown).
Look for him to break off a few big-time runs and give this offense a little bit of a spark.
Other last minute predictions for the Atlanta Falcons against the Los Angeles Chargers
- A.J. Terrell comes up with his second career interception
- Matt Ryan finds Calvin Ridley for two touchdown receptions
- The Falcons offense looks the best it has all season (outside of the Raiders’ game)
- Fans complain about a win, it’s just what happens
If you want some predictions for how this game turns out, I believe we see the Falcons’ offense come out firing and it finishes the day as one of the most complete games of the season.
We’ll be encouraged by A.J. Terrell’s continued development, but in the end fans will be upset when the Falcons win the game because that will hurt their draft stock. Oh, the life of being a Falcons fan.
