A year from now the Atlanta Falcons will lead the NFL in Pro-Bowl selections.

The Atlanta Falcons have two representatives in the non-existent 2020 Pro Bowl game – kicker Younghoe Koo and defensive tackle Grady Jarrett. However, after an offseason of change, expect for the Falcons to lead the league in selections in 2021.

This season, the Green Bay Packers led all teams with seven selections and it showed on the field as the Packers were able to follow Aaron Rodgers to the NFC Championship Game, which they hosted at home.

If Arthur Smith and Dean Pees are as good as we expect them to be, the Falcons have a chance to lead the league in selections in 2021.

A big reason for the Atlanta Falcons 4-12 season was the 2-8 record in games decided by one score or less. If they can correct that issue and win the close games in year one under Smith, the Falcons’ talented roster will be recognized across the country.

Post Super Bowl meltdown in 2016, the Atlanta Falcons have had just eight different players selected for the Pro-Bowl – Julio Jones, Grady Jarrett, Austin Hooper, Alex Mack, Deion Jones, Keanu Neal, Jake Matthews, and Younghoe Koo.

Deion Jones, Keanu Neal, and Jake Matthews have not repeated as selections since their initial selection in either 2017 or 2018. Could that change in 2021?

Here are the seven players that have a chance at being a Pro Bowl selection in 2021.
