The Atlanta Falcons are going to need to add some help to the 2021 roster.

Now that the 2020 season is officially over, the Atlanta Falcons can move forward and put the finishing touches on their road map for the 2021 season and beyond.

New general manager Terry Fontenot is going to try and make his mark on this roster sooner than later and that will start with free agency in the next several weeks when the 2021 year officially begins for the league.

As of right now, the Atlanta Falcons are some $23 million over the projected cap but they will be able to clear between $40-$50 million between cuts and contract reconstruction. If they are going to make a play at any NFL free agents, they are going to have to identify players that can make an immediate impact and will come with a price tag that isn’t too terribly high.

A good place to start would be the two teams that just finished playing in Super Bowl LV Sunday night.

These guys have been around greatness whether they are coming from Kansas City or Tampa Bay – both franchises have excellent culture because of the head coaches and quarterbacks. They believe in buying into each other and playing for the guy next to him in order to achieve greatness.

Those are the intangibles that the Atlanta Falcons brass has to identity in whoever they decide to bring in during free agency.

When you look at age and potential contract earnings, here are the guys from each roster that would make sense for the Atlanta Falcons.
