Kansas City Chiefs Unrestricted Free Agents

Obviously not how the Chiefs envisioned their season coming to end but that does not mean that they don’t have several very talented pieces that the Atlanta Falcons can afford to add to the roster, especially at key positions.

Bashaud Breeland – Corner

Breeland had a tough time in Super Bowl LV as he got called for a couple key pass interference calls, but overall, he has been a big part of their secondary success the last couple of years.

He will be entering his eighth NFL season in 2021 and could potentially bring a lot to the Atlanta Falcons secondary at a price that will fit nicely into what they will eventually have available.

Austin Reiter – Center

This may not be popular based on how badly the Chiefs offensive line played in the Super Bowl on Sunday, however, when you go back and look, the Bucs had a lot of success against the Chiefs tackles and not so much inside with Austin Reiter.

There is no doubt that the Chiefs will want him back but his price tag will be too good to not attempt to add him to the Arthur Smith offense.

Atlanta Falcons are more than likely going to move on from veteran Alex Mack, leaving Matt Hennessy as the only center on the Falcons roster.

Daniel Sorensen – Safety

This will be a big need for the Atlanta Falcons in 2021 as not many people are confident that Keanu Neal will be back in an Atlanta Falcons uniform.

Sorensen has played both strong and free safety during his seven-year run with the Chiefs – though he did start the last 11 games this season at free safety and was pretty successful.

He added three interceptions, five pass deflections, and two forced fumbles this season in addition to 91 tackles and four QB hits from his safety position.

Like the other two mentioned his price tag and experience will make him a valuable UFA.
