Leonard Fournette – Running back

Everyone seems to think that the Atlanta Falcons need to draft a big bruising running back in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft. Well, Leonard Fournette has the potential to be just that in the right system.

While he did win a ring in Tampa, his numbers were not reflective of his ability and someone like Arthur Smith could return him to his what he was in 2019.

Smith was able to make Derrick Henry a household name and he could do that with a guy like Fournette. Seems like it would be a win-win for all of those involved.

Joe Haeg – Tackle

Yes, he was the guy that had the tackle eligible play called for him and failed to catch the ball cleanly.

However, he could be the swing tackle that the Atlanta Falcons need to add to this roster.

In his five-year NFL career with the Colts and the Bucs, he has played and started games at both tackle positions and he brings a level of athleticism to the position that neither Jake Matthews nor Caleb McGary currently has.

He would not be the starter, but he would add depth that the Falcons sorely need on the offensive line.

Andrew Adams – Safety

Another potential safety that has played both safety spots.

With as much as new defensive coordinator, Dean Pees will blitz, joining the Atlanta Falcons defense could be an exciting opportunity for a guy like Adams that will want to expand his role since he has earned the Super Bowl ring.

He will be a lot more affordable to bring in than Keanu Neal will be to retain.
