4. Matt Prater

Matt Prater has gone on to have a Pro-Bowl level career with the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions.

Over the course of his career, he has connected on 83.2 percent of his field goal attempts and has a long of 64 yards. Unfortunately, that’s not the kicker the Atlanta Falcons got to see when they brought him in back in 2007.

Prater only played in two games before being released by the Falcons as he connected on just 1-of-4 field goal attempts.

It does seem that the Falcons have found a little more consistency as of late in their kickers, but you wonder what could’ve been had Prater stayed around longer.
