Five players who’d be absolute steals for the Atlanta Falcons in the second-round

The Atlanta Falcons will be on the clock with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft in a little more than a month and there is plenty of intrigue surrounding what they might do with the selection.

Some believe the Falcons will take a future quarterback with the top-five pick. Others think Atlanta will go with the best available player at the spot- perhaps a defensive playmaker or an offensive lineman. Still, many believe the franchise will trade back to gain more draft capital as a result.

No matter what the Atlanta Falcons do with their first-round pick, it won’t be very long into Day 2 of the draft before they’re back on the clock. Here’s a look at five prospects who’d be steals in the second round.

5. WR Rondale Moore (Purdue)

Rondale Moore was considered by many to be one of the top wide receiver prospects in the draft class before the 2020 season started.

Now, he’s considered a solid second-rounder with a ton of upside.

We don’t think (or recommend) that the Falcons go after a wide receiver in the second-round simply because of all the other needs, but Moore is an absolute playmaker who is going to be a starter at the next level, likely from the time he steps onto the field. That’s why we had to mention him.

Moore could be an excellent complement to Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley, but there are a few other prospects that are more likely matches for the Atlanta Falcons in Round 2.
