Round 1, Pick 4: Kyle Pitts, TE Florida

If the Atlanta Falcons decided to go the route of Kyle Pitts, it will no doubt be exciting.

Looking at the talent Atlanta could deploy on the offensive side would be stunning. It would include four former first-round playmakers in Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Hayden Hurst, and now Kyle Pitts.

Julio Jones is one of the most physically gifted players in NFL history, the exact same can be said for Kyle Pitts, having them on the same team would be spectacular.

In fact, Julio and Pitts have shockingly similar attributes.

Barring the Falcons receiving an offer from a team that they cannot turn down, Kyle Pitts should be the pick for the team. While the tight end is not a major need for the Atlanta Falcons, neither is quarterback, which is a position many Falcons fans are clamoring for.

Many analysts consider Pitts to be the second-best player in the whole draft. To be able to select the second-best player at the fourth pick, would be great.

Kyle Pitts simply has all the physical traits you look for in a perfect tight end. He is big and has speed that you would never expect to see from a guy of his size.

Adding to the fact is the production he had during his last season at Florida. He finished the season with 43 catches, 770 yards, 12 TDs, and a whopping 17.9 yards per reception. He also finished the season with zero drops. He routinely made incredible catches, especially in the endzone.

He also will not be 21 years old until the beginning of October. He could end up being the new Tony Gonzalez in town, and no doubt would help to elevate the Falcons’ success in the endzone.

What is there not to like about this kid?

Other considerations: Penei Sewell OT Oregon; Jamar Chase, WR LSU; or trading down.
