With Atlanta Falcons reporting to camp, football season is officially underway as the team begins the process of getting ready for the season.  One position  Atlanta should consider adding to during camp is the receiver position.

The Atlanta Falcons are in great shape when it comes to having weapons with Calvin Ridley, Russell Gage, Kyle Pitts, and Hayden Hurst all expected to be primary weapons in Atlanta’s offense.

Perhaps the only thing the team is lacking behind them is clear depth if an injury were to strike. Gage did a great job filling in when injuries hit the team last season. He proved himself capable of handling a starting role.

Now with limited options behind Gage and Ridley Atlanta should look to add veteran depth. Especially when you consider the potential ease of the division they will be playing in.

Tom Brady’s Bucs are a force to be reckoned with but beyond Tampa, there is nothing but questions. Will Darnold thrive in Carolina or prove himself a bust? Who is the quarterback in New Orleans and what will their offense be after so much turnover?

Atlanta is potentially sitting in a division that could see them be the second-best team and have a shot at a wildcard spot if everything fell perfectly into place. With a weak defense, however, this would be reliant on the team’s ability to outscore the opposing offense.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at potential veteran receivers who would fit well in Atlanta’s current offensive scheme.
