5. Sign former rival Kenny Stills as a solid depth option

Kenny Stills started out his career in Atlanta’s division as a member of the New Orleans Saints before stops with the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans. Stills was great with both the Saints and the Dolphins before struggling last season in what was his second year with the Texans.

He registered only 144-receiving yards and struggled to make an impact. While this is a slight cause for concern his track record and age don’t suggest Stills doesn’t have something left in the tank. Bringing him to Atlanta as the third option at receiver would be a great move for a team who could use just a bit more depth at the position.

Just a season ago Stills finished the year with 561-receiving yards and four touchdowns this is the type of production expected from Stills wherever he ends up landing this season.

4. Do the impossible and sign Larry Fitzgerald to finish his career somewhere other than Arizona

By far this is the most unlikely of any of the five but it is also one of the more interesting fits with Julio Jones now gone. Fitzgerald is respected across the league and has long been one of the most consistent players at his position.

He is seemingly now mulling retirement and likely will only come back to end his career with the Arizona Cardinals. Fitting for an old-school player who has always played the game at a high level.

If there is even a chance he is willing to play for another team, the Atlanta Falcons should jump at the chance to add the veteran. Not only as a player but as a leader who would fit well in the locker room and give the receiver group a veteran leader they are now lacking with Julio Jones in Tennesee.
