3. Find out if Alshon Jeffrey has anything left in the tank

Alshon Jeffrey makes this list based only on his size and the fact he potentially brings to the table exactly what the Atlanta Falcons is lacking at the position. However, he has had noticeable trouble separating over the last couple of seasons and his most memorable plays aren’t exactly highlights.

But he has had a great career and with limited options, the Falcons certainly could give him a look as their third option.

The upside for Jeffrey is the fact he hasn’t been fully healthy it appears in the last two seasons. With limited reps over the past year, there is a chance a fully healthy Jeffrey returns to form and is a good addition to a team who only needs a depth piece, not an every-down high impact player.

Jeffrey in Atlanta would be an interesting storyline that would give Atlanta a chance to add a big-bodied receiver who could fit perfectly in Atlanta’s weapons.

2. Add a player who always seemed to be on the cusp of establishing himself as a playmaker in Tavon Austin

Tavon Austin’s career is one of the more confusing careers I have watched unfold. He certainly has always had the speed and elusiveness to be one of the more explosive players in the League. But for whatever reason, it has never come together for Austin.

Now looking for his fourth team after failing to make an impact in Dallas or Green Bay Austin is looking for another offense to give him a shot.

While he lacks the size Atlanta Falcons could use at the position Austin is a great fit in the Atlanta offense. He is a no-risk option who has the potential to be a high reward. Think Taylor Gabriel or Marvin Hall of years past. Using Austin in this role would be ideal for Matt Ryan and the offense and give them another playmaker who is capable of breaking big plays.
