5. Atlanta Falcons could go after Nick Foles

There may not be a more sought-after or talked-about third-string quarterback in NFL history. Nick Foles is sitting behind Andy Dalton and Justin Fields on the Chicago Bears depth chart. This is of his own making considering the struggles he has had as a starter since leaving the Eagles.

Still, based on his winning record and playoff magic Foles is going to end up as a starter or as a 1A on a team before the season begins.

Chicago is not going to carry Foles as the third-stringer and there have been plenty of rumors swirling around the veteran. Matt Ryan is established enough that bringing in a player like Foles is going to help him not intimidate him as it would a younger quarterback.

Foles is at his best when nothing is expected from him. When expectations are high he appears to falter, his magical playoff run with the Eagles was unexpected everyone had counted Foles and the Eagles out and he made them pay.  Foles is a perfect fit for Atlanta and a valuable asset as a leader in the locker room and on the sideline.
