2. Atlanta Falcons add the familiar face of former UGA star Jake Fromm

The Buffalo Bills paid high dollar for backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky as the third or fourth option quarterback Jake Fromm is likely going to be cut or at the very least made available for trade discussions.

Fromm is a former Georgia Bulldog and would be a very popular addition in Atlanta. Fromm is something of a developmental project as well but would certainly be an upgrade over Franks. The one downside to this move is the fact if Ryan were injured how Fromm would respond would be a question mark.

While he is an upgrade and a better option for Atlanta he also lacks the veteran experience many of Atlanta’s other options would bring. Fromm in Atlanta would be a popular move but perhaps not the right one.

If given the chance Atlanta should opt to add a veteran adding Fromm only if they are unable to sign one of the better veteran options.
