Atlanta Falcons free agent target: Brandon Scherff – OG

Previous team: Washington Football Team

Brandon Scherff would fill a big hole that the Atlanta Falcons currently have. Having Scherff on one side and Lindstrom on the other would do miracles for the running and passing game.

The major downside is that Brandon Scherff will likely demand a lot of money, he is one of the best in the game and deserves the money.

Many think that Jalen Mayfield is the future at the guard spot opposite of Chris Lindstrom, and while that might be the case, adding Scherff would still be a big upgrade.

The other factor the front office would have to consider is if they can afford to have two of the highest-paid guards in the league down the road. Chris Lindstrom’s contract will eventually expire, and that will likely come before Scherff’s next contract is up. If Lindstrom continues to take leaps like he is capable of, then he will demand big money.

While Scherff is a player that Fontenot needs to consider, it will probably not happen when you consider all the scenarios in the future.
