Atlanta Falcons free agent target: Chandler Jones – OLB

Chandler Jones has been one of the most consistent pass rushers over the past decade, not something you can say about any Atlanta Falcons player.

Will the Falcons have enough to afford him? They could certainly find a way if they want him bad enough.

He will be aiming for a bounce-back season with the Cardinals, after a disappointing one sack year in which he only played five games.

No one should doubt him though. The year prior, he recorded 19 sacks during the season. He is far from being done in his career.

Having Grady Jarrett inside and Chandler Jones outside would be spectacular. It would boost Grady’s stats without question.

Not to mention, there are few coaches in the league that put their pass-rushers in a better position than Dean Pees does.

It all comes down to how much the front office still believes in Chandler Jones, paying him a high amount of money could be just what the defense needs. After all, he could not be any worse than what Dante Fowler Jr. has been so far.
