Atlanta Falcons potential first-time Pro Bowlers No. 3: Foye Oluokun – LB

If this was a list of Atlanta Falcons who should have made the Pro Bowl last season, he would be second on the list. He was no doubt a snub from last season’s Pro Bowl.

Foye should receive even more attention for his play on the Falcons defense. Dean Pees loves to blitz his linebackers and the media love seeing sack numbers, so put two and two together and Foye could easily make the Pro Bowl.

He and Deion Jones are two of the best coverage linebackers and playmaking linebackers in the NFL. They fly around the field, they shoot gaps, and they will get in the face of opposing quarterbacks.

It should be a lot of fun seeing the Falcons duo of linebackers during the upcoming season.

The one bad factor about him making the Pro Bowl is the fact that he is entering the final year of his contract. Making the Pro Bowl often makes a player’s negotiations higher. The Falcons need to try and secure his future with the team as soon as possible, or they could risk seeing him walk out the door.
