The Atlanta Falcons are taking on the Philadelphia Eagles in week one, a team who isn’t exactly daunting but still has players capable of hurting Atlanta. The Eagles and the Falcons are teams who appear to be headed in opposite directions.
It seems the Eagles are completely uncertain of their future at quarterback stuck in neutral. Refusing to commit to a rebuild or to stick with their guys. Atlanta is a team that is rebuilding and appears to have the pieces to take a step forward this season.
The Falcons still have talent offensively and will go as far as their offense and Head Coach Arthur Smith can take them. Headed into week one Atlanta will focus on what few playmakers Philly has left on their roster.
With a capable gameplan, the Atlanta Falcons should have very little problem shutting the Eagles best players down
Week one is going to be a huge indicator for this Atlanta Falcons coaching staff. The Eagles are not a very good team. If Atlanta cannot scheme to minimize what few weapons they have it is a major red flag for the season to come. Weapons Atlanta won’t be able to fully shut down but rather cause enough issues that they don’t change the course of the game. Starting with a disrupter who can change Atlanta’s offensive game plan.
