Similarity: Exciting young pass catchers for Falcons and Eagles.

Kyle Pitts and DeVonta Smith are two players for the Falcons and Eagles that will be counted on heavily and early.

These two players were easily the best pass-catchers in college football last season. Both of them were absolutely electric and demanded the most attention out of any other player last year from opposing defenses.

DeVonta Smith was the eventual Heisman Trophy winner and National Champion at Alabama.

Kyle Pitts was unfortunately on a lesser team, at no fault of his own. Pitts was the featured player on Florida’s offense, even more so than Smith on the exceptionally talented Alabama receiving core.

The opening game between Philly and Atlanta is exciting just for the mere fact of seeing these two players in their first NFL game. They are two players that should demand the attention of defenses and the eyes of the audience.

If all goes well Kyle Pitts will be in a bigger spotlight following the game, especially if Atlanta comes out with a win.
