Tampa Bay beat the Dallas Cowboys 31-29 in NFL’s kick-off game

Tom Brady and the Bucs are still the NFC favorites after week one in what was a sloppy week one win. Tampa consistently turned the ball over and struggled in their secondary and still beat Dallas who played their best game in a long time.

Dallas played this game as if it were their Super Bowl and created four turnovers in the process. Yet Tom Brady and the Bucs winning this game seemed inevitable.

Tampa will be coming off of three extra days rest in week two since they played Thursday. Yet another advantage for a team who is going to be heavily favored to roll Atlanta in week two.

Tampa’s pass rush stood out as well despite the high score of the game Tampa’s front seven looks completely dominant and is going to help carry them to a division title this year.

Dallas considered this game a “moral victory” which tells you everything you need to know about these two teams this season. Has Tom Brady ever talked about a moral victory in a loss?  Whether it was a moral victory or not it counts as a loss for Dallas and a win for Tampa all the same.
