The New Orleans Saints dominated the Green Bay Packers 38-3

Jameis Winston was a turnover machine two years ago as the Tampa Bay starting quarterback. He was playing with the same core that Tom Brady took to the Super Bowl only a year later. With this in mind, Winston was entering what could have been his last chance to start with the Saints.

Winston didn’t just take advantage of this chance he dominated. He thoroughly outplayed Aaron Rodgers and led an explosive offense in complete domination of the Packers.

It is hard to tell just how good this Saints team is with just how badly the Packers played. Will Winston be able to keep up this pace and avoid the constant turnovers?

If the answer is yes, this Saints team looked like the one true challenger to Tom Brady and the Bucs. Remember the Bucs ultimately lost the division last year to the Saints despite later beating them in the playoffs.

This is a Saints team that is going to be confident they can go toe-to-toe with the stacked Bucs and after this performance who is going to argue?

Week one is in the books and Atlanta is sitting firmly in the basement in the NFC South. A position they should become comfortable with in a division where all three teams look better coached and more talented than the Atlanta Falcons.

Next. Falcons a dumpster fire in week one. dark
