3. The Dallas Cowboys take on the Los Angles Chargers

Any game Tony Romo calls is fun to watch. One could argue he is currently the best NFL broadcaster there is, though Monday’s lovable performance from Eli and Peyton Manning certainly puts them in the running.

CBS will have the second game slot this week kicking off at 4:25 EST. The Cowboys are yet another team Atlanta is going to have to face this season and one that just lost to their division rival.

Watching Dak Prescott vs. Justin Herbert should be enough to get even the average NFL fan interested in this matchup. Two young quarterbacks with very different teams, Herbert has a supporting defense while Dak has all the weapons.

Herbert has some solid skill players but he lacks the depth Dallas has. Love them or hate them Dallas is box office and when they are at least competitive it is good for the rest of the NFL.

Watching how they respond after losing to Tampa is going to be interesting against a young Chargers team that is becoming a trendy pick to make the playoffs. Of the non-prime time games, this is without a doubt the most interesting matchup between two teams with talented rosters.
