1. Spencer Rattler

Rattler and the Sooners will face their first legitimate test this Saturday against Nebraska on FOX. The game will kick off at 12:00 PM EST and certainly be one of Saturday’s more entertaining games.

If Atlanta is going to opt to have a quarterback sit behind Ryan they should look no further than Spencer Rattler. Rattler is the best quarterback in this class and has elite athleticism that will help him cover up some of his shortcomings.

Planning for life after Matt Ryan is something Atlanta must begin to do and if this season affords them the chance to take Rattler it is a chance they cannot pass.

Against Nebraska, fans should pay close attention to Rattler’s ability to get past his first read. Can Rattler continue to develop and show patience in the pocket? The biggest red flag about Rattler is the fact he will force the ball at times.

Something he must clean up this season and certainly will have to clean up at the next level. Rattler is going to be a sought-after player one Atlanta will only have a shot at if their season truly goes as sideways as it appears it might after week one.
