Wide receivers:

  • WR1: Julio Jones
  • WR2: Roddy White
  • WR3: Andre Rison

There should be zero doubt in anyone’s mind that Julio Jones is the best receiver and one of the top-five best players in Atlanta Falcon’s history. Do not let recent events lead you to believe anything different.

It is simply rare to find players like Julio Jones. For most of his time with the Falcons, he kept his mouth quiet and went about winning. He never demanded the ball like most star receivers do, he just did his best to help the team go out and win.

Next is Roddy White who helped Julio Jones become the all-pro player he was. Roddy was the star for the Falcons up until Julio arrived. He was electric and had this unwavering confidence to him.

Roddy is right behind Julio in the Falcons receiving leaders, there are no arguments here.

Where you may find a few arguments is the third receiver spot.

It was between Andre Rison or Calvin Ridley. Rison was the choice because Ridley needs a couple more years under his belt. There is no doubt he will end up top-five at least on the Falcons record books but for now, Rison is the choice.

Andre “Bad Moon” Rison was electric. He had some of the smoothest route-running in the game and was able to pull off some great highlights.

Rison does not get enough credit for his time with the Atlanta Falcons.
