If there was one thing that was obvious in the Atlanta Falcons’ week two loss to Tampa Bay it was Atlanta’s need to improve at virtually every position group. For Atlanta, the loss was a bit of an improvement considering they climbed back into this game and were able to keep Ryan upright for the majority of the game.

Ryan willed the Falcons back into this game playing at the highest level to bring a far inferior roster within three at 28-25. He gave this team a chance despite their lack of talent and a bland offensive game plan.

If Atlanta is going to keep their veteran quarterback and try to find success now they need to add pieces to help the franchise quarterback. They are asking too much of Ryan in year fourteen, they need to provide more support on both sides of the ball.

The Atlanta Falcons need to make moves if they are going to continue to build around Matt Ryan

Atlanta’s early game plan was disappointing as well it was a dink and dunk performance of screens and check-downs that would have bored Blake Bortles. It was only when Ryan started running the offense that it began to click.

An offense that could use help both on the offensive line and at the skill positions. Players that would help give Ryan a chance to outgun the opposing offense considering the defense cannot stop anyone. Here are five players that would have an instant impact in helping Matt Ryan.
