7) Jake Matthews (LT)

Jake Matthews has been ole reliable for the Atlanta Falcons for what seems like forever. Every year it has been about what the other four guys next to him will play like.

So far this year, nothing has changed for the son of a Hall of Famer.

He is one of the best pass blocking tackles in the league, and while he may sometimes struggle with run blocking, it does not matter as his impact on passing plays is huge.

We can only have nightmares about what would happen to Matt Ryan without Jake Matthews.

6) Grady Jarrett (DT)

It really has been a quiet year for the Falcons defensive star, he has not made the “wow” plays quite yet but expect them to start coming as soon as this week.

While he has not made the flashy plays, he still continues to be the unquestioned, best defensive lineman the Falcons have. He is making an impact in areas that the casual fan will not see. While everyone loves the sack numbers, there is a whole lot more to football than that.

He still is one of the best and most important players the Falcons have on their team.
