2) Kyle Pitts (TE)

Kyle Pitts may not have eye-popping numbers, but the Falcons should be even more excited for his future than before. He had a quiet first week but was special in week two.

Kyle Pitts failing to make a big impact in his first game had less to do with him, and more to do with the usage of him and the issue of pass blocking. So we will ignore that ugly game for Atlanta.

Against the Buccaneers Pitts finally got a chance to show himself. While, again, his usage was questionable and needs to be reevaluated this coming game if you are Arthur Smith. Pitts did everything he could to help the team win.

He was able to make the seal block on Patterson’s touchdown run. It was not the most pretty block you will see, but he did what was needed and how it looks should not be held against him.

Later on in the game, Matt Ryan threw a pass on a critical third-down through a tight window and somehow Pitts reached back with one hand and snagged it for a big gain.

Kyle Pitts was also pretty darn good in pass protection, where one of his snaps he took on of the defensive linemen for the Buccaneers one on one and basically dominated him. It really shows that Kyle has basically no weaknesses in his game and can be one of the all-time greats.

It is time to beg Arthur Smith to keep him on the field for all, if not most snaps in the game. There is no reason to take him off the field unless it is to rest him.
