This is the game the Atlanta Falcons must win, there are no excuses against the Giants.

Week one was a game they should have won on paper, but that was the last thing they showed on the field. Week two was a game they made closer than anyone expected, they simply are not close to being a better team than the Buccaneers, they lost a game they were expected to lose.

Going winless through two weeks hurts your postseason odds a lot, but going winless through three weeks is a whole other story.

It really is a must-win game and pivotal game. Both these teams are the only 0-2 teams in their division and they will be fighting to change that.

What are the Falcon’s biggest weaknesses against New York?

Daniel Jones vs. the Falcon’s defense

This has been one of the biggest shockers of the year, despite not winning a game yet, Daniel Jones has played excellent – the Falcons will have their hands full.

Pro Football Focus has Daniel Jones ranked as the sixth-best quarterback so far this season. He boasts an 83.8 overall grade and an 85.4 passing grade.

For a quarterback that has been slammed by New York media since he was taken high in the draft, this is impressive. He has great receivers and will possibly be getting his talented tight end back for Sunday’s game.

Not only has he been passing the ball well, but he has also been able to consistently gain yards with his legs through his career – when he is not tripping on the grass.

The New York Giants may not have a win but their quarterback – much like the scenario in Atlanta – has little to do with it.

This is hopefully the week that the old Daniel Jones comes back and the Falcons take advantage.
