The Atlanta Falcons are taking on the Washington Football Team in week four two teams struggling for relevance. The winner of this game will have the outlook on their season drastically changed while the loser’s season will all but be over.

There is very little chance of a 1-3 team turning their season around even if they play in the NFC East. For Atlanta, this is a game they must have, one that would give them momentum as they head to take on the struggling Jets.

Winning this game would start a two-game winning streak that gives the Falcons confidence and a chance to get their feet under them before facing contending teams.

Atlanta can win this game if they take advantage of the struggling Washington secondary. Something Matt Ryan should be able to do if he abandons the dink and dunk style of offense Atlanta has employed three weeks into the season.

Defensively it is hard to know what to expect as Atlanta takes on Taylor Heinicke and an average Washington offense. A solid performance would speak to actual improvement and not simply benefitting from facing Daniel Jones the previous week.

If Atlanta is going to win this week it is going to take three players, in particular, improving and stepping up their production.
