2. Where has Kyle Pitts been in this offense?

Atlanta spent a high draft pick on a player expected to come in and make big plays. So far their schemes to get him the ball seems nonexistent. This isn’t going to cut it for an offense relying solely on Cordarrelle Patterson and Calvin Ridley. Atlanta needs someone else to scheme into their offense.

Having watched Pitts at Florida there is no question he is going to make a huge impact at this level. Whether it is Ryan’s comfort level or poor coaching Pitts has failed to make that impact three weeks into the season.

For an offense struggling as badly as Atlanta has waiting on it to happen naturally isn’t an option. They must force-feed Pitts in this game early and often. Even if it is the short throws Ryan has forced to Ridley early on this season give the big tight-end a chance to take the ball and make a play.

Giving Pitts more targets on deep routes and in the red zone should be a priority as well considering his propensity for getting the jump ball. Something Ryan has been known to throw when he had Julio Jones. A player Pitts will compare to in the seasons to come.
