Falcons’ running backs out of the backfield vs. Washington linebackers

Again, back to the Falcons exposing Washington’s linebackers. It is just a fact that they do not have great coverage backers’ like the Falcons do.

Cordarrelle Patterson has come up clutch in every game this year. He has easily been the best signing that Terry Fontenot has made.

Whether it has been running the ball or catching the ball, he has been a playmaker. Expect more of the same against Washington.

Even Mike Davis has gotten a lot of opportunities as a receiver, most have been check-downs but it still creates yards and gives Matt a security blanket for the times that he is close to being sacked.

Patterson should get a lot of work coming out of the backfield if Arthur Smith is smart in his game-planning. Football is a game of matchups and this is a big advantage for Atlanta.

Patterson has the ability to take anything to the house, he uses his incredible return abilities on offense.

Time for Matt Ryan to spam the tight ends and running backs throughout Sunday’s game.
