Denver Broncos

While the Texans and Packers make for intriguing future trade partners, the Broncos could be willing to make a deal with Atlanta in the present time.

First let’s get this out of the way, the chances that Terry Fontenot trades Matt Ryan during the season are slim to none. The team has no quarterback that can be considered a starter for one second, but in the NFL there is always a chance if the offer blows you away.

The Denver Broncos lost their first game of the season on Sunday, they are right in the middle of playoff contention during the early parts of the season. Teddy Bridgewater had been playing great but sustained a concussion during the past game.

The Broncos are in win-now mode, they see themselves as Super Bowl contenders with a dominant defense and a talented offense.

While Bridgewater has been playing fantastic, there should be no doubt in anyones mind that Matt Ryan is an upgrade over Teddy. Ryan would take this team from a long shot to make the big game, to a favorite in no time.

If George Paton wants to make a bold statement, this would be it. Find a way to be able to afford it and make Terry Fontenot an offer he cannot refuse even with the absurd dead cap that he would absorb.
