Washington Football Team

A familiar team to the Atlanta Falcons might be a viable trade partner for them—The Washington Football Team.

Matt Ryan outplayed Taylor Heinicke on Sunday, simple as that. Stats show it and the film shows it. Heinicke had three passes that were dropped by Falcons defenders and also threw some prayers up, especially the one that made it a two-point game for Washington.

Matt Ryan would have run through the Falcons if he was on the opposite side on Sunday.

Washington has not had a franchise quarterback that they have believed in since the early days of Robert Griffin III’s career, and this would change that quickly.

You know the team has the talent on the defense—even if they are not playing like it—which already puts Matt Ryan in a better situation then he currently is in.

This team also has playmakers like Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel, Logan Thomas, and Antonio Gibson. Matt would have plenty of options to throw the ball too, not to mention the fact that there are few—if any—offensive lines that are worse than the Falcons, and Washington surely is not one of them.

This is one of the few teams in the NFL that does not have a clear-cut franchise quarterback on its roster.
