1. Matt Ryan has a chance to be better than every quarterback on the remaining schedule not named Tom Brady

The Atlanta Falcons schedule is an interesting one that sets up very well for Matt Ryan down the stretch. The only quarterback clearly better than Ryan on the schedule is another matchup against Tom Brady.

Dak Prescott and Josh Allen both are capable of outplaying Ryan but whether or not they rank ahead of him is arguable. In accomplishments neither are in the same conversation as Ryan.

Jared Goff, Sam Darnold (twice), Jameis Winston(twice), Mac Jones, and Trevor Lawrence are the remaining known quarterbacks on the schedule. San Francisco and Miami both are facing uncertain quarterback situations, regardless of who they land on, they won’t be better than Matt Ryan.

Ryan has the chance to put on display the fact he is still a top quarterback in this league and capable of beating superior teams with inferior quarterbacks.

Ryan has passed for 1,332-yards so far adding in 10-touchdowns solid numbers, though not nearly as impressive as the statistical number Kyler and Brady have put up thus far.  Ryan is going to have to put up better numbers in the coming weeks facing a long list of vulnerable secondaries.
