Did you think that Atlanta Falcons star rookie had a big game during the past two games? Well, an even bigger game might be in the near future for one of the best tight ends in the NFL, already.

Kyle Pitts is coming off two monster games during the last two games. Against the New York Jets, he totaled ten targets, nine catches, 119 yards, and one touchdown, followed by a performance against the Miami Dolphins where he was targeted eight times, had seven catches, and 163 yards.

Falcons rookie, Kyle Pitts, might be on track to absolutely torch the Panthers

Think about what former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver, Julio Jones, was able to do against the Carolina Panthers. He had five games where he went over 100 yards, including one where he went for an incredible 300 yards.

Now think about the type of player Kyle Pitts is, he is so similar to Julio Jones, and might even be even more talented when you get into the numbers.

Pitts is a couple inches taller, has a bigger frame, and has similar speed to what Julio Jones possesses. This will cause a huge problem for the Carolina defense that is not the same during their prolonged losing streak.

There has always been something about Julio Jones that the Panthers cannot stop, let’s hope Kyle Pitts will continue that trend because it will be more than entertaining to watch.

Not to mention, Arthur Smith and Matt Ryan have essentially turned Pitts into the number one option in the passing game. They are constantly targeting him through the air which is great because early in the season they were not making a conscious effort to throw him the ball.

Needless to say, this Sunday might make it three-straight games in a row where Kyle Pitts sets new career highs, it is a terrible matchup for the opposition.
