2. Veteran Alshon Jeffrey would make a big impact if the Atlanta Falcons signed him

Alshon Jeffrey had a great career before it was derailed by injuries and a memorable drop in the playoffs. On Nick Foles, last magical run with the Eagles Jeffrey let the magic slip through his hands failing to catch a pass right on him and from there the Eagles and Foles’ run together came to an end.

The following season Jeffrey wasn’t the same player and couldn’t stay healthy. Now with plenty of time to heal Atlanta should give Jeffrey a chance. He is a big-bodied jump ball receiver that Atlanta lacks on their roster.

Outside of Philly and away from the injuries and mistakes that ended his career for the time being could Jeffrey find his way back to being the receiver he was with the Bears? People forget just how great Jeffrey was at his best. Perhaps a byproduct of his struggle to stay healthy and a memorable playoff drop.

Jeffrey was dominant with the Bears and could find this success again with Matt Ryan and Atlanta. He is still only 31-years old and could still have two or three productive seasons left. Jeffrey deserves one last shot and it should come with the Atlanta Falcons.
