1. DeSean Jackson is likely going to be a free agent does he want playing time or to win a ring?

Jackson is currently on waivers after the Rams opted to move on from the veteran. Jackson had two great catches with the Rams but was frustrated with a lack of snaps despite his production with the Rams.

The question here isn’t whether it is a fit or if Atlanta will reach out. The question is would Jackson play for a team that isn’t a contender or anywhere close? Does he value playing time over a chance to get a ring?

This seems to be the case considering he just left the Rams who are one of the Super Bowl favorites. He would be the number one option with the Falcons and their best deep threat. Atlanta could scheme around him and feed him with a consistency he wouldn’t find anywhere else.

If this interests Jackson Atlanta should jump at the chance. Signing a player like Jackson gives Atlanta a chance against their division rivals and could help to turn their season around. While it wouldn’t make them a playoff contender it would give them a chance to show growth and head into next season with a bit of confidence.

Jackson and Atlanta are a great fit and would give Matt Ryan a chance to remind the league he can still throw the deep ball.
