10. With one last chance could Riley Ridley make an impact with a better quarterback?

Riley Ridley was in the league for two seasons with the Chicago Bears and failed to make an impact. In his two seasons, Ridley caught ten passes for 108-receiving yards so far in his NFL career.

With Calvin gone for an unknown amount of time, perhaps another Ridley can step up in his place. Riley is a perfect no-risk option for a rebuilding team and perhaps the move would offer Calvin encouragement. Offering him the chance to reunite with Riley on the football field when and if he is ready to return to Atlanta and the football field.

Riley Ridley had a great career with Georgia before being drafted and struggling with the Bears. Giving Ridley one more chance certainly cannot hurt Atlanta it is hard to see him struggling worse than their current options have.

At worst he could take Christian Blake’s spot on the roster. A player Atlanta knows what to expect from at this point in his career.

Riley would benefit from having Matt Ryan as his quarterback as well having spent the last two seasons with a revolving door at the position in Chicago. Ridley needs one more chance to prove he belongs in this league and no team is better set up to give him that chance than Atlanta.
