1. If Atlanta doesn’t claim him Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t likely to join the Atlanta Falcons

If Atlanta opts to pass on their chance to claim Odell it seems likely he will hit free agency and pick a team. If that happens it is hard to see Atlanta winning a bidding war or offering something other receiver needy teams cannot.

Once Odell gets into the city of Atlanta and a solid Arthur Smith offense it will be a great fit. However, I don’t believe it is a fit Odell is going to pick if he has his choice of suitors. Who can blame him?

If you can choose between top contenders or the Falcons which team are you going to choose? It is a no-brainer for a receiver who is yet to win a ring or to play with a great quarterback. On Odell’s third stop he is going to be under a lot of pressure to make it work and because of that will be picky where he lands if given the choice.

The Atlanta Falcons if given the chance need to claim the star receiver and convince him that he will be a star in Atlanta. If they don’t it seems unlikely they will get the chance to sign the best receiver on the market.
