Falcons CB, A.J. Terrell, might just be the best in the business

There have been very few bright spots amongst the Falcons defense but no one can say that A.J. Terrell has not been one of them, he has been magical.

When Terrell was drafted a couple years back, it was met with a lot of scrutiny, people claimed that A.J. was drafted too high and was not worthy of a first-round pick, those who actually watched him—more than just his game in the National Championship—would have seen the talent he possesses, the talent that is on full display this season.

In his rookie year he was already the best corner Atlanta had on its roster, former interim head coach, Raheem Morris, even claimed that A.J. was the only guy they could trust one on one, high praise from a veteran coach.

Now in his second season, he might just be the best cornerback in the league. Most people will argue that Trevon Diggs or Jalen Ramsey is better, but the amount of yards given up says otherwise, and virtually everything else besides interception totals.

No one will ever give him the credit he deserves, it is even highly unlikely that he makes the Pro Bowl despite being the most worthy to make the roster, it is just a popularity contest.

So, here are the reasons that A.J. Terrell is a better corner than anyone else in the league.
