The Atlanta Falcons are headed into Sunday’s matchup with the Dallas Cowboys as heavy underdogs. After an upset win over the Saints Atlanta doesn’t get any breaks taking on a Dallas team that is going to be ready for them.

Dallas is coming off of their worst loss of the season, a blowout loss at the hands of the Denver Broncos. The same Broncos that just traded their best player to the Rams at the trading deadline. This game seemed to be about the Cowboys overlooking a bad team and getting beat soundly because of it.

This is bad news for Atlanta who had to hope they could catch the Cowboys a bit off guard. That will not be the case Sunday for a team that badly needs a win to keep pace in the NFC race.

The Atlanta Falcons are going to get the Cowboys full attention and best shot on Sunday

For Atlanta to have a chance to pull back-to-back upsets everything is going to have to go right for a team that doesn’t have as much talent on either side of the ball. While you could argue Matt Ryan over Dak Prescott there is no argument who has the better running backs, receivers, and offensive line.

Still, there is hope for Atlanta in this game if three players, in particular, step up their production this week.
