Keep an eye on Mike Davis to see how many snaps he gets compared to others

Mike Davis is having a rough time in Atlanta, he just simply cannot establish himself and it is not just about the blocking, it is his ineffectiveness.

He seems to struggle to get north from the first part of the play, he is not being used like he should. He should be given the ball going vertical, not lateral like Arthur Smith has been doing. That is when he slips or cannot make a cut to gain yards.

So, keep an eye out for how much he is used, and how he is used especially with the likely return of Cordarrelle Patterson.

Will Wayne Gallman or Qadree Ollison get most of Davis’s snaps? It is something that will be answered on Sunday after it certainly was the case against New England. We know that Smith does not give Patterson every single carry throughout a game, so who will be the backup this week?

It has been concerning to watch the running back who was supposed to lead the team in rushing yards struggle so mightily. He just looks lost, so we will all see if that trend will keep going.
