Atlanta Falcons get key starter back ahead of game vs. Buccaneers
This is a pivotal week for the Atlanta Falcons if they somehow beat the reigning champion Buccaneers then the path to the playoffs becomes clearer, if they do not, then we can continue saying the team is not fit for the playoffs.
Every player helps if Atlanta wants to send Tampa Bay packing with a loss, splitting the series between the two teams. Luckily the Falcons will be getting back a key starter on defense.
The Falcons will get Deion Jones back after a one-week absence
Deion Jones is a playmaker for the Falcons defense, even if he has struggled at times during the season, he can still change a game around at any point, and he is still vital for the defense to have success.
After a one-week absence with a shoulder injury in which he missed the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he will be ready to suit up and take on Tom Brady.
Certainly, everyone should be glad that he missed the game against the Jaguars and not against Tampa Bay, those two opponents are two totally opposite teams, we would much rather have him available against a team coming off of a Super Bowl season.
Debo Jones has not been quite the player we have seen from seasons prior, but he still can fly around the field and make life difficult for the opposing quarterback and their run game.
He is also a huge threat to shoot a gap on any given play and sack the quarterback, Dean Pees has certainly shown that he is more than willing to send Deion flying through the line of scrimmage.
Overall, he gives the defense another playmaker to go with A.J. Terrell, Foye Oluokun, and Grady Jarrett.
Hopefully, he will have a huge impact on this game and help the defense shut down Tom Brady.
