In an up and down year for Atlanta, but there are still many things that have gone right

The Atlanta Falcons have been on a rollercoaster ride throughout the first year of Arthur Smith’s head coaching tenure.

It all started off rough with a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles as the team looked lost and simply not ready to start the season, followed by a game against the Buccaneers when they looked lost for the first part before they turned it around and then blew it at the end.

The Falcons were able to knock off a few wins in a row against lesser teams, but they still won nonetheless.

Then they were sitting in a position where they had an outside shot at making the playoffs but blew that when they were blown out against the 49ers this past week. Now they have virtually no shot to make the postseason, but at least they had a shot in the late stages of the NFL season.

Now looking back on the season there are certainly a few things that went right for the Falcons. Whether that is during certain individual games or individual performances throughout the year, there are things to like about this Falcons team.
