As currently constructed the Atlanta Falcons are headed into 2022 with $13.7-million dollars in projected free cap space. While this is far from flexible it is an improvement over last season as Atlanta continues to slowly fix a terrible roster situation.

There isn’t one obvious trade or fix that is going to get Atlanta out of a messy cap situation. It is going to be being patient over the next two years and bringing in quality draft classes that save the Falcons. If Atlanta can hit on their draft picks and remain patient the cap issues with fix themselves.

For now, however, Atlanta is going to have very few options in free agency or trades that will make them a much better team in 2022.
