It is the last week of the season for the Atlanta Falcons and they are actually playing for something—even if it is not the playoffs. Atlanta has the ability to knock the Saints out of playoff contention, while also sweeping them for the year.

These two teams hate each other, there is always something to play for when these two teams face off against each other. Atlanta needs to play this game like it is the playoffs.

The Falcons should not rest Kyle Pitts for the season finale for two reasons

As previously mentioned, the Atlanta Falcons have the ability to knock New Orleans out of the race for the playoffs and they can also sweep them on the season, they need to have every player to play, provided they are healthy enough to play,

Kyle Pitts injured his hamstring while playing against the Buffalo Bills, he only played a couple snaps after the injury.

Some fans have suggested that the team should rest him for the last game of the year because they are not playing for anything, but that should not be the case.

Of course, there is always the possibility that Pitts will be too injured to play no matter what, but this is assuming that he can battle through the injury.

Kyle Pitts is also playing for something on a personal level—the rookie record for most receiving yards in a season. Atlanta should send him out onto the field and get him that record. It is a huge deal for him, and he is so close to breaking the record.

He only needs 59 more yards to sit atop the record books when it comes to rookie tight ends. This is his last chance. Hopefully, he is able to get the needed yards against New Orleans. It would be a huge achievement for him.
